IMPOSSIBLE TO RESIST
An Italian living room designed for you to enjoy a vibrant and romantic mixture of cuisine, flowers, and ceramics. Appuntamento charms its way into our hearts and minds with ease as we travel with our imagination to Rome and kick back in this beautiful setting.
A HARMONY OF DESIGN ERAS
Seamlessly weaving together different design eras, Lilou pays homage to Hyères’ heritage as a classic Côte d’Azur retreat – an in-demand destination of the European glitterati from the late 1800s onwards, who flocked to its sparkling azure coast in search of indulgent escape.
CHILLED NOSTALGIA
An old industrial space in Taipei has been turned into a mid-century inspired members club dishing out some of the world’s best cocktails. The low-key speakeasy atmosphere of Staff Only has us dreaming of chilled evenings in the company of good friends and jazzy vibes.
BALANCED BLEND
OF OLD AND NEW
Created by Aamann’s long-standing interiors collaborator, Copenhagen design studio All That Matters, the new space takes inspiration from the location’s mix of old and new architecture, and the colors and materials of the old Carlsberg brewery site – raw steel, exposed brick, and accents of red and green. The overall style is an eclectic but balanced blend of old and new – industrial tradition and playful innovation – and the furniture selection has a key part to play.
A MULTISENSORY EXPERIENCE
The Alchemist restaurant in Copenhagen’s industrial Refshaleøen is pushing the boundaries of fine dining. In the main restaurant 12 mapping projectors supply dinner guests with a 360-degree visual experience that might feature the anything from the aurora borealis to a bloom of jellyfish interspersed with plastic bags.
THE WORLD’S BEST HOTEL
Turned into an elegant luxury hotel after a comprehensive restoration, the new owners of Passalacqua Hotel on the shores of Lake Como, the De Santis family, reopened the doors in 2022 with the ambition to carry on the historic purpose of the estate. Only a year after opening, Passalacqua was announced as The World’s Best Hotel by an expert panel of 580 travel journalists, hoteliers and seasoned luxury travellers.
AN HOMAGE TO CALIFORNIA EASY LIVING
Fuse a 1920s Spanish colonial revival style building with a curvilinear extension and have design maven Kelly Wearstler layer the space of Santa Monica Proper Hotel. An eclectic mise-en-scène of select vintage and contemporary pieces in palettes that allude to the coastal setting makes a social habitat that calls for lingering and embodies California easy living.
