FALL 2023

Collection

This Fall, we rediscover and reintroduce lost treasures of design history for the present generation. Reemerging trends from past decades set the mood, with playful and geometric shapes and boldness in materials: Hand-stitched bamboo, brass craftsmanship, gleaming chrome, super-smooth leathers, strokable bouclés, velvety chenilles – as well as a fresh, tactile take on seersucker.

TIME TO SHINE

Chrome Selection

Chrome is back. As 1980s style returns to interiors in a burst of vivid primary colors, graphic patterns, and gleaming metal, chrome is once again in the material palette. Bold and eye-catching, it brings a flash of silver and a shimmer of luxury into every space it touches.

INHABITING THE WORLD

Beetle Chair

Shimon Ovadia sees the world through a design lens. He was born in Jerusalem and moved to Brooklyn, NYC, with his family at the age of four. Growing up, Shimon often helped his father who owned a children’s apparel company, and his childhood, no doubt, shaped his outlook and choice of career.

MAKING OF AN ICON

Beetle Chair

The Beetle Chair’s unique success as a design is rooted in its distinctive fusion of artisanal craftsmanship and technologically advanced production techniques. Like the insect that inspired it, the chair combines an almost mechanical exactitude of form with an organic, contoured softness.

FACE TO FACE

Fall 2022

GUBI is devoting this fall to the time we spend together in our homes. There is something very precious about sharing the same space – something that cannot be replicated at a distance. When we are eye to eye in each other’s presence – together, intimate, and unfiltered – we can truly connect.

COLOR DROP

Fall 22 Collection

In the 1970s, we went crazy for color. Bold shades, earthy tones, playful accents, gleaming neutrals – the full spectrum from subtle to striking. Now, we are in the midst of a retro renaissance, as the tones and textures of the decade’s distinctive aesthetic are en vogue all over again.
