BEETLE LOUNGE CHAIR

BY GAMFRATESI

With its striking, organic form, remarkable comfort and endless configurations, Danish Italian duo GamFratesi’s design classic is also available as a low-slung, generously proportioned Lounge Chair.

Gently flexing shell

The Beetle Lounge Chair’s outer shell is a continuous, curved form, reminiscent of the strong and graceful contours of the insect that inspired it. Beneath the upholstered surface, the gently flexing shell provides extra comfort, while the low sitting position is ideal for curling up for long stretches of time. The gently tapering legs, available in four wood types, have been sculpted to accentuate the ‘beetle’ aesthetic.

The vast choice of fabrics makes it a favourite of designers and architects, which is why the Beetle Lounge Chair features in so many prestigious residential, office and hospitality projects around the world.

Simplicity of shape makes the Beetle ideal for  creativity and personalization.

GAMFRATESI

GamFratesi Studio was established in 2006 by the Danish architect Stine Gam (born 1975) and the Italian architect Enrico Fratesi (born 1978). GamFratesi belongs to the latest generation of furniture architects and together they represent a new interpretation of the meeting between Danish and international design traditions.

GamFratesi's design takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal and in an experimental approach to their chosen materials and techniques.
