US Regional Sales Manager

About the position:
You will inspire, support, and work closely with our partners to implement new launches, marketing plans, and sales tools to achieve the overall sales targets. This position reports to the Head of Americas with dotted line into Head of Customer Service.
Responsibilities:
Sales:
• Develop and grow excellent partner relationships to achieve the annual sales target
• Introduce sell-in plans and secure agreement on implementation of new launches, display updates, and marketing plans
• Conduct sales training in product knowledge as well as digital sales tools
• Negotiate commercial terms and continually evaluate your regional partner network
• Participate in sales meetings at GUBI HQ in Copenhagen, as well as local sales activities, events and trade fairs
Information & Communication Process:
• Collaborate with Supply Chain team, Operations team, Finance team, Marketing team to oversee all pertinent client requests for the US market
• Maintain and provide detailed updates and reports on all account activity, including open orders, quotations, ongoing projects and unresolved issues
• Work directly with clients and end users to communicate project coordination and support needs
• Provide the entire Operations team feedback to facilitate collaboration on new business initiatives
• Maintain all sales operations tasks and ensure timely follow-up, regarding specific inquiries and issues
• Communicate with operations team, end users, and partners to ensure best possible client experience
• Assist in preparing client presentations and meetings by coordinating catering, marketing materials, and samples when necessary
Order Processing:
• Enter quotations and orders, as well as handle related inquiries about lead times, cancellations, delays, and product knowledge
• Daily follow-up on open quotations and overdue orders
• Coordinate special requirements with Supply Chain & Product Developments
• Handle and maintain customer accounts from an administrative perspective
• Monitor order activity for all changes and updates to manage client expectations
• Assist customers with processing orders
• Support or/and handle claims out of local warehouse. Take the initial dialogue with the customers before liaising with the Claims department
Logistics, Warehouse & Deliveries:
• Handle non-standard deliveries with external forwarders, including processing documents when required
• Maintain daily contact with the local warehouse for shipping updates, product loan send-outs and returns, as well as inventory and stock updates
Ad Hoc:
• Assist with administrative duties. Handle confidential materials and matters with appropriate discretion
• Assist in coordination PR and marketing for events and publicity
• Create presentations for sell in, strategic growth initiatives, and trainings

Qualifications & Experiences:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as sales or key account manager, preferably in design/furniture industry
• Strong sales drive and ability to work independently and efficiently toward set goals at the same time being a team player
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to convert plans into action
• Knowledge and understanding of the US residential and contract market
• Creative problem-solving ability with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong relationship-building skills and a trustworthy personality
• Competitive and winning mentality
• Strong communication skills with both peers and clients
• Excellent organizational skills
• Disciplined, well-structured, and detail-oriented
• Capable of managing multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously
• Local super user in Odoo and Focal Scope ticketing system
• Natural interest in design, interior, and furniture
