
Sales Manager in Australia and New Zealand

About the Position:
We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially astute, and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Australia and New Zealand. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, enhancing the primary brand image, and building strong relationships with key clients, including architects, interior designers, high-end retailers, and hospitality businesses.
The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for design, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in premium or luxury furniture and interiors sales.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in luxury furniture or interior design.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
- Strong network within the architecture, design, and hospitality industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Passion for design, aesthetics, and GUBI’s brand ethos.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a global team.
- Willingness to travel within Australia and New Zealand as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market expansion in Australia and New Zealand. Prepare detailed sales budgets and activity plans in alignment with overall guidelines.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including interior designers, architects, developers, and high-end retailers.
- Plan and execute marketing activities together with partners, including design exhibitions, pop-up opportunities, and showroom openings, ensuring consistent and impactful brand visibility.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
- Provide expert product knowledge, design advice, and tailored solutions to clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Provide systematic brand and product training to partners. Host monthly/quarterly training sessions for showroom and retail staff to improve overall sales performance.
- Collaborate with GUBI’s global sales and marketing teams to align strategies and initiatives.
- Work closely with local showrooms and distributors to optimize sales performance.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis.
