Product Development Intern

About the position

Are you passionate about product development? Are you highly proficient in 3D-drawing? Are you interested in sustainability research within the furniture industry? Would you like to work in a dynamic and fast-growing design brand environment? GUBI has the perfect internship for you. We are looking for a dynamic and organized student to join our Product Development team. The position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product development processes across both lighting and furniture categories. You will report to the Head of Product & Development and collaborate closely with a skilled team of product developers.

Key Responsibilities

3D / 2D drawing in SolidWorks
Support the creation and development of datasheets, quality manuals, and assembly manuals
Operate and maintain 3D printers for rapid prototyping and testing purposes
Support in the review of prototypes and pre-production series to perform quality control and approval
Conduct research on design, materials, and products
Take on ad hoc tasks related to product development

qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Design Engineering or Product Design
Interest in technical aspects and knowledge of various materials and manufacturing processes
Strong drive to learn and grow in the design and furniture industry
Highly organized, proactive, detail- and deadline-oriented, with the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities
Proficiency in SolidWorks and the Microsoft Office suite
Experience with 3DS Max, Fusion 360, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, KeyShot

language skills

Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal
