BY PIERRE PAULIN
PLAYFUL & FUNCTIONAL
Echoing the organic curves and fluid contours of the T877 Side Table is the ideal companion to Pierre Paulin’s timeless lounge chair. Like the F300, the table is lightweight and easy to carry, so it can be moved around effortlessly, and works well both on its own and in clusters.
FIVE CURATED COLORWAYS
Like the F300, T877 is available in Alabaster White and Pastel Green, with the addition of Violet Ice, Honey Gold and Molé, enabling it to complement almost any interior aesthetic.

A MATERIAL EVOLUTION
The T877 is crafted in Italy from the engineered polymer HiREK®, which is made using industrial plastic waste. Retaining the durability of plastic, HiREK is lightweight and resistant to UV, weathering, and pressure. Most importantly, HiREK produces a smooth, high-gloss surface without requiring additional finishing processes, perfectly replicating the performance and aesthetic of the original materials while minimizing waste created during production.
MOLDED IN A SINGLE PIECE
To shape the raw material for the F300 & T877, GUBI has developed bespoke molds that press the injected HiREK into its final form. Hard and defined in form, the T877 Side Table is small enough to be molded in a single piece, while maintaining a distinctive sculptural fluidity facilitated by its material composition.
PIERRE PAULIN
French designer Pierre Paulin (1927–2009) had hoped to become a sculptor before shifting into design – and this impulse is apparent in his work. His low-slung furniture provided a new laid-back perspective on life and his forward-looking, eclectic, and sculptural approach to design reflected the swinging ’60s and the freewheeling spirit of the ’70s.
Paulin created the Pacha Lounge Chair – now a flagship GUBI design – in 1975. He cited Ray and Charles Eames and George Nelson among his influences and, like Nelson, considered himself a functionalist who added ‘two little drops of poetry’ to his work.
