Alberobello

2 €

The latest addition to GUBI’s selection of chenille fabrics, Alberobello, is a reinterpretation of seersucker. Created using a weaving technique that groups threads together in small bunches, seersucker has a distinctive wrinkled texture. Similarly, Alberobello has an almost wavy structure, giving it a lively tactility that is perfectly balanced across three different colorways: white, beige, and light blue. Alberobello takes its name from the town in southern Italy, known for its round dry-stone buildings, or trulli, which have a rough-hewn texture that bears a striking resemblance to the endearingly uneven finish of Alberobello fabric.
