US Sales Representative - Contract and A&D Furniture

GUBI is a modern design company offering a wide variety of luxury furniture, lighting, and interior objects for both residential and commercial settings. With a strong global presence, GUBI’s headquarters and showroom are located in Copenhagen, Denmark.

About the Position:
GUBI is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven US Sales Representative to expand our presence in the Contract and Architectural & Design (A&D) Furniture market. This role is instrumental in growing our brand by building strong relationships with architects, designers, and regional brand partners across key commercial sectors. Reporting to Head of Americas, the Sales Representative will play a key role in driving brand awareness and increasing sales in the US market.

 

Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven sales experience in the contract furniture or A&D industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of furniture design, materials, and commercial applications.
- An established network of industry contacts, including architects, designers, and dealers, is a plus.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, design, or a related field preferred..
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

 

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow GUBI’s presence in the contract and A&D furniture markets, targeting corporate, hospitality, education, and healthcare sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers to foster brand preference.
- Strengthen partnerships with regional brand partners, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to successfully represent GUBI.
- Conduct engaging product presentations and showroom visits, highlighting designs, materials, and customization options.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitive insights to inform sales and marketing strategies and product development.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, and logistics, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Support sales efforts by participating in industry events, networking opportunities, and showroom visits.
- Plan and execute marketing activations and events to increase brand and product awareness.
- Track and manage sales activities using Salesforce CRM.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

Language Skills:
- English (written and verbal) required.
- Additional languages are a plus but not required.
