A&D TRADE PROGRAMME AND ACCOUNT MANAGER
GUBI is a modern design company offering a wide variety of luxury furniture, lighting, and interior objects for both residential and commercial settings. With a strong global presence, GUBI’s headquarters and showroom are located in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and organized A&D Trade Programme and Account Manager to join our Marketing and Sales teams.
About the position:
The A&D Trade Programme and Account Manager will lead the design and execution of hybrid trade initiatives that combine digital platforms with physical activations to increase sales and engagement among architects and designers. This role focuses on creating seamless customer experiences through program management, digital marketing, and sales expertise to achieve measurable growth and expand our market presence in the architecture and design sectors. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in building strong relationships within the global A&D community and driving growth through in both online and offline sales strategies tailored to the architecture and design sectors.
This position will be anchored in the marketing team but will maintain strong ties to the sales team. The candidate will report directly to the Head of Marketing.
Key responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute hybrid trade initiatives to drive sales among architects and designers, leveraging e-commerce platform, online marketplaces, digital lead activities, and CRM system.
- Identify and engage potential clients through digital outreach, virtual and physical events, and campaigns tailored to the A&D community.
- Promote product specifications and solutions via webinars, events, online presentations, and virtual and physical showroom activation in Copenhagen and London.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align trade initiatives with lead generation and conversion goals.
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers through digital platforms such as LinkedIn, industry forums, and email campaigns.
- Organize and host in-person and virtual networking events, workshops, and product launches to engage the design community.
- Organize and collaborate with customer service and in-market sales representatives to enhance community management and client relations.
Program Development and Trade Activation:
- Design and manage hybrid trade initiatives, including physical trade shows, digital campaigns, and showroom activations.
- Lead and develop marketing materials and digital content (e.g. brochures, videos, social media posts) to support sales.
- Utilize both online tools (e.g. e-commerce platform, email marketing) and offline strategies (e.g. catalog distribution, showroom displays) to maximize program impact.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for both digital and traditional trade programs.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure cost efficiency and high ROI across channels.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure digital trade initiatives comply with GDPR, data protection laws, and relevant digital regulations.
- Mitigate risks associated with cybersecurity and online reputation management.
Reporting and Evaluation:
- Measure the success of trade initatives and programme using KPIs and analytics tools.
- Generate reports and provide insights to optimize future trade initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Business, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital program management, trade development, or sales, with a focus on digital engagement. Experience in the design industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of digital sales strategies, e-commerce, and online platforms relevant to the A&D industry.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and virtual event platforms; experience with AR/VR technology for trade applications is an advantage.

- Sales Acumen: Expertise in both in-person and digital sales techniques, with the ability to convert digital leads into tangible sales opportunities.
- Program Management: Proven track record in managing hybrid trade program/initiatives combinding digital and traditional elements.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders in the A&D community.
- Creative Content Development: Experience in creating impactful digital content for the A&D community.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, and basic web development.

- Proficiency with tools like Klayvio, Salesforce, or equivalent CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with digital trends in architecture and design, such as VR or AR for product visualization.
- Knowledge of sustainable design trends, materials, or certifications is preferred.
- Ability and readiness to travel for in-person meetings, trade shows, and showroom activation.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication in English.
