Design by Komplot DesignLaunched in 2003, the GUBI 3D Chair was one of the first dining chairs to join the GUBI Collection, and has since become a brand hallmark. Conceived by the Danish studio Komplot Design, it pushed the boundaries of cutting-age veneer-molding technology. The GUBI 3D Chair Collection includes an upgraded veneer edition and a new recycled-plastic version, both available in dining chair, lounge chair, and counter and bar stool variations. The veneer options are crafted from FSC® Mix-certified oak or American walnut and wood from other controlled sources (FSC® C176589) with a range of upholstery fabrics. Also suited to outdoor use, the more casual recycled plastic edition can be supplied in three colors – Black, Lunar Gray, and Alabaster White. The collection is exceptionally versatile: there’s a GUBI 3D Chair for every setting and style.
Today, the GUBI 3D Chair is available in a wide range of configurations that underline its versatility. From classic dining chairs to stackable versions, fully upholstered models, and shells in molded veneer or HiRek®, the collection allows for a highly personal expression. Newer editions include FSC®-certified veneer options and a recycled plastic version suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
