Design by GamFratesiGUBI’s introduction of GamFratesi’s Epic Tables brought the aesthetics of Classical architecture and the rich textures of natural stone into the home. Now, the much-loved design steps outside with a new edition specially optimized for outdoor use. Designed and named in homage to the architectural traditions of ancient Greece and Rome, the tables of the Epic Collection are characterized by their monolithic silhouettes and materiality. Where the interior iterations are crafted from travertine or steel, the Epic Outdoor Table takes a new material direction, exploring the mesmerizing visual expression and impressive durability of quartzite.
Monumental in form, rich in material expression, and inspired by Classic architecture, the Epic Table is one of the most admired pieces in GUBI’s collection. Now, GamFratesi has taken the sculptural beauty of the Epic Collection into the open air, offering a refined setting for alfresco dining.

GamFratesi has been working with GUBI since the inception of their studio and the development of the Beetle Chair. With their own dual heritage, Italien Enrico Fratesi and Danish Stine Gam share GUBI's ability to synthesize seemingly opposing ideas - the classic and the contemporary, the intellectual and the sensual, the understated and the expressive, the manufactured and the unique. These juxtapositions, as well as the boldness and curiosity that drives their desire to find inspiration in unfamiliar territory, are epitomized in the Beetle.
