ESG INTERN

GUBI is a modern design company that offers a wide variety of luxury furniture, lighting, and interior objects for both residential and commercial settings. Our global brand has a strong presence, with headquarters and a showroom located in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of ESG Intern.

About the position:

You are passionate about sustainability, and you possess excellent organizational and communication skills. You have a strong desire to drive positive change within our organization. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in various ESG-related tasks, including Certification Tracking, Compliance and Regulations, Carbon Footprint Analysis, Life Cycle Assessment and conducting new Sustainable Materials Research.

 

Key Tasks :

• Assist in certification process (i.e. FSC, GreenGuard, OEKO-TEX, Cradle to Cradle, etc.)

• Assist in tasks related to CSRD, UN Global Compact, EU Taxonomy, EUDR

• Organize and assist in renewing safety certificates and test reports.

• Data analysis for Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs).

• Conduct Biodiversity Assessments.

• Assist with packaging optimization.

• Conduct research on sustainability topics, including circular economy, responsible sourcing, and sustainable materials.

• Communicate with stakeholders.

You need to possess a Danish Work Permit and be present at GUBI headquarters for work.

Qualifications:

• Passionate about sustainability and have a strong desire to make a positive impact

• Knowledge of sustainability concepts and principles such as circular economy, responsible sourcing, and sustainable materials.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in sustainability, environmental science, product development, or a related field.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with business-level English proficiency.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Basic understanding of ESG principles and sustainability practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and quick to learn new software.

• Interest in Product Development and/or Furniture industry.

You need to possess a Danish Work Permit and be present at GUBI headquarters for work.

Start: As soon as possible
