About the position

The Project Sales & Showroom Manager, France is a hybrid commercial role responsible for driving contract sales growth in the French market while leading the activation and daily management of GUBI’s upcoming Paris Showroom. The role is central in strengthening GUBI’s local presence through strategic partnerships with architects, designers, and contract dealers, as well as through targeted showroom events and brand activations. Reporting to the Head of South Europe and Benelux, the role works cross-functionally with teams at HQ, including Customer Service, to build a strong and sustainable contract pipeline across key sectors such as hospitality, residential, and workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations and commercial performance of the upcoming Paris Showroom, ensuring it functions as a key brand and sales activation hub.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a local showroom event calendar to drive visibility, engagement, and lead generation.

  • Maintain the Paris Showroom exhibition to a high level of presentation and ensure alignment with GUBI’s brand guidelines, in close collaboration with GUBI’s Design team located in Milan.

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with A&D professionals and contract dealers to achieve the outlined pipeline targets and metrics.

  • Collaborate closely with contract dealers and project influencers, through a key account management approach, ensuring the GUBI brand and products remain top-of-mind from specification to project completion.

  • Actively build and manage a robust contract sales pipeline across key business sectors, including hospitality, residential, and workplace.

  • Develop and implement best practices for contract dealers and A&D offices regarding meeting cadence, product training, and general engagement.

  • Conduct regular sales training to enhance product and brand knowledge across key segments, including wholesale partner staff, A&Ds, and contract dealers.

  • Day-to-day communication with local partners and stakeholders to ensure consistent commercial traction in the region.

qualifications

  • Education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in logistics or operations management role, preferably within an asset-light and international environment. Experience within a similar industry is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of global transportation modes, including air, sea, rail, and road.

  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, import/export compliance, and their operational impact.

  • Demonstrated experience managing 3PL partnerships and logistics service providers at a strategic level.

  • Proven ability to lead cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high service quality.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.

  • Experience working in cross-functional, international environments.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with logistics or ERP systems is an advantage.
